Conditions: Safety is our first concern. You will be asked to show your diving credential before you dive with us. In case you are an unexperienced scuba diver, you may need to be guided in a smaller dive group; the dive cost may be revised accordingly. Besides, you are responsible for updating your scuba diving knowledge and skills through consistent practice and education. If you cannot dive because you lack skills that may impact your and the other divers' safety your dive will be cancelled and you will be charged.
Please note: The following policies are based on industry / insurance standards.
> If you did not log a dive for more than 12 months you will first have to complete a scuba refresher.
> If you did a refresher prior to your arrival, we will check the instructor’s signature on your logbook.
> If you wish to do a deep / drift dive you will first complete a shallower / reef dive.
> If the Rangiroa Diving Center cannot run due to poor environmental conditions you will not be charged.
> The Rangiroa Diving Center requires a 48-hour cancellation notice to avoid a full-price cancellation fee.
Insurance:
We strongly recommend you to get a dive insurance. In case you suffer from a dive accident without liability of a third party you will not be insured under your contract's Civil Liability. Specific diving insurances and assistances guarantee MEDEVAC and hyperbaric chamber costs if needed.
